COVID Restrictions and Requirements for Travelling both Domestically and Internationally can change frequently. Please ensure you understand the requirements for the destinations you are travelling to and through.

Please always check relevant government and airline websites for the most up-to-date information,

We, of course, are here to advise as best we can, however ultimately this is the responsibility of the traveller.

Things can change very quickly, and we hold no responsibility if you do not check and comply with specific regulations or if entry/travel is denied.

INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL

COVID Entry Restrictions are very different from Country to Country.

We find these sites to be helpful in up-to-date information on regulations around the world

INTERNATIONAL VACCINATION CERTIFICATE

You will most likely still need an International Vaccination Certificate for most countries and airlines.

This is different from the one you use domestically here in Australia.

How to get your International Vaccination Certificate

If you’re eligible for Medicare

If you have a current Australian passport, or foreign passport with an Australian visa, you can get an international certificate using either:

  • your Medicare online account through myGov
  • the Express Plus Medicare mobile app.

If you’re using your Medicare online account through myGov:

  • Sign in to your myGov account.

Select Go to Medicare on the Proof of COVID-19 vaccination quick link.

Select Request Covid International certificate.

Select your name and then Next.

Follow the steps to verify your vaccinations and passport details. You may need to update your middle name in the passport details screen to match what is on your passport.

Don’t forget to download or print a copy of your international certificate for your records.

Of course you can always contact the Australian immunisation Register on 1800 653 809 Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm

Pre Departure Testing for inbound travel to Australia is no longer required from the 18th April 2022.

The Australian Digital Passenger Declaration is also no longer required as of the 6th July 2022

IF you need to take a test prior to travel to your Destination/s

Some Countries still require either a PCR or Supervised Rapid Test prior to travel.

For the quickest (and cheapest) tests we also recommend going to Histopath at Sydney Airport

OTHER

With Covid tracing regulations, we may now need to add more information in advance to all your flight bookings including email address, residential postcode and mobile numbers.  We will do this automatically unless advised otherwise by you at the time of booking.

Ensure your Travel Insurance has cover for COVID-related incidents some countries require proof of Covid Medical Cover for entry.

It is recommended you download any Contact Tracing Apps for the state/country you are traveling to and your specific Airline/s Travel App.  Some countries require additional forms to be completed, ensure that you carry a pen to complete these forms.

Check-In times are the airport can take quite a bit longer so please allow 3-4 hours for International Departures

A Gentle Reminder

Our Industry was hit harder than any other, it is still in recovery.
A lot of staff (skilled staff) had no choice but to leave their job.
Along with Travel Agents, Airports, airlines, hotels and all the personnel in-between are doing the best they can with this huge demand for travel we are seeing at the moment.
We remind you to be patient, be kind, be prepared and keep an open mind. Travel is a luxury and a privilege.
We will always try and help you the best we can if your plans are disrupted.
